We Are TechnoGeeks!

This blog is a culmination of our work this semester about technology.  We have been hard at work exploring all different vehicles for technology.  In addition to exploring hardware and practicing different technologies, we were able to welcome four guest speakers to our cluster time.  We have learned about digital music from a musician and PhD student, Lucas Jensen.  We have learned about blogging from a local Social Media consultant.  We practiced animation with a UGA faculty member from the Department of Instructional Technology and we created inventions to navigate the Internet with MaKey MaKey.  We have learned SO much!

We have worked on several products using the skills from our sessions.  We decided that we would combine all our skills and group projects to create a blog for the Enrichment Cluster Fair that would highlight what the various groups have learned and what their final product or performance will be at the fair.  One group worked to create a survey on Google Docs that asked each cluster facilitator to provide a description of their cluster activities and final products or performances.  This group edited and provided the copy to the blog group who uploaded it.  The blog group also designed our blog and worked to organize the information and pictures for our blog.  The animation group researched and created a short animation video using Stop Animation to teach about what Enrichment Clusters are.  We have also created QR codes for each cluster and posted them beside each cluster area and connected them to the blog so that Enrichment Fair participants can have information on each cluster using their smart phones!

We are proud of our work and hope you enjoy!
