Wonderful World of Butterflies
Our cluster is Wonderful World of Butterflies. Our facilitator is Mrs. McMaster. We have watched the migration patterns of the monarch butterfly. We have had visitors from the State Botanical Garden come and talk about the life cycle stages of butterflies. We have search for butterflies and planted butterfly food to attract butterflies at our homes. We have studied butterflies by reading books and stories. We have had visitors come who work in careers related to butterflies and we do butterfly craft projects to help us make connections between what we learn and our world. Perhaps we will share some with you at the cluster fair.
Garden Gurus
Our cluster is Garden Gurus. Our facilitator is Ms. Wright. We are learning how to grow and take care of plants. We are also learning about the importance of recycling food waste into compost. We have planted seeds and plan to build a compost bin for the teacher's lounge as our final product.
